Cancellation & Refund Guidelines

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which payments made on Labourscart ("Company", "We", "Us") may be refunded.

By using our platform, you agree to the following terms.

Labourscart provides a digital marketplace that connects employers ("Clients") with labourers ("Workers"). Payments made on the platform cover labour charges, service fees, and any applicable taxes.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are provided in the following situations:

1.1 Worker Not Arrived

If a booked labourer does not report to the job location and a replacement is unavailable, the user is eligible for:

  • Full refund of labour charges
  • Full refund of service charges

1.2 Job Canceled by Labourscart

In rare cases where Labourscart must cancel a booking due to:

  • System errors
  • Emergency circumstances
  • Unavailability of verified labour

The user is eligible for a 100% refund.

1.3 Duplicate Payment

If you are charged twice for the same transaction:

  • One full refund will be issued
  • The valid booking will remain active

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following scenarios:

2.1 Work Already Started

Once a labourer reaches the location and begins work, refunds are not applicable.

2.2 Cancellation After Work Allocation

If the employer cancels a booking after the worker has:

  • Been confirmed
  • Been dispatched
  • Reached the location

Service fees or part labour fees may be charged.

2.3 Dissatisfaction With Work Quality

Labourscart does not guarantee the quality or performance of workers.

Refunds are not applicable for:

  • Skill mismatch
  • Slow work
  • Employer preference issues

We may, however, help facilitate replacements wherever possible.

2.4 Incorrect Information Provided by User

Refunds are not applicable if:

  • Address is wrong
  • Contact number is unreachable
  • Job description was incorrect
  • User is unavailable during scheduled service time

2.5 Outside Platform Transactions

Payments made outside the Labourscart platform (cash/offline) are not eligible for refunds.

3. Cancellation Charges

3.1 Employer-Initiated Cancellation

  • Free cancellation within 10 minutes of booking
  • After 10 minutes: cancellation fee may apply
  • If worker is already en route: partial charges may apply

3.2 Worker-Initiated Cancellation

If a worker cancels unexpectedly, Labourscart will:

  • Attempt to provide a replacement
  • Offer a refund if replacement is unavailable

4. Refund Processing Time

Refunds are processed through the original mode of payment.

Refund Timeline:

  • 3–7 working days for UPI/Wallet refunds
  • 5–10 working days for bank transactions
  • 7–14 working days for credit/debit card refunds

Processing time may vary depending on the bank/payment gateway.

5. Refund Mode

Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction:

  • UPI
  • Wallet
  • Net Banking
  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Other digital payment methods

Offline cash refunds will not be provided.

6. Service Fees & Taxes

Unless otherwise eligible under this policy:

  • Service fees are non-refundable
  • Government taxes are non-refundable

7. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may contact our support team.

We may request:

  • Booking details
  • Transaction ID
  • Proof of issue (photos, attendance logs, etc.)

Labourscart will review disputes in a fair and transparent manner.
